An SEO Pressor Review of the Basics
Search Engine Optimization (“SEO”), is a technique used by virtually all skilled Internet marketers to make their websites appear higher in the Google, Yahoo and Bing rankings. There is no real secret to getting your website to rank more favorably, but there are certain methods and techniques that you need to be aware of if you are going to be successful. No matter whether your website is an eCommerce store, an affiliate marketing website, or a personal blog, you will definitely want to take steps to optimize your website to attract the most visitors. Not only will my SEO Pressor Review attempt to outline the ins and outs of how it all works, but I will also discuss the SEOPressor product.
But first, we need to cover the basics of SEO which can be broken down into on-page SEO and off-page SEO.
On-Page and Off-Page SEO – SEOPressor Review
On-Page SEO represents the steps you take on the actual pages of your website to help them rank well in the search engines. Larger companies often hire a professional SEO firm to handle these website modifications, but the reality is that virtually anyone can quickly master these on-page tweaks.
One of the most important on-page factors is to make sure that the title, head, description and keyword meta tags are all filled out appropriately. In other words, make sure that your target keyword that you are trying to rank for in the search engines appears in each of those tags. This can be done by looking in the header section of your website if you designed it in HTML, or it can be modified in the individual posts and “General Settings” tabs in WordPress. Once that step is out of the way, you also want to make sure your keyword is in the h1, h2, and h3 tags of your website posts, and that it appears at a decent keyword density throughout the relevant pages.
Off-page SEO, by contrast, consists of factors outside of your website that can affect your rankings. Many SEO companies specialize in this area of optimization which mainly consists of building links back to your website. These links can easily be built from blogs, forums, article directories, etc., and can really be powerful in large numbers. Basically, the more websites that link to your site, the more popular your website appears to Google.
Keep in mind, though, when linking back to your website that the actual anchor text of the links is also important. What do I mean by anchor text? Anchor text represents the actual blue text that visitors would need to click to be taken to your site. So, if I wanted to rank for the phrase SEO Pressor Review, then that is how I would create my anchor text.
